Use HDMI Cables With Your Old Video Game Consoles!
Composite AV Converter
- Ever wanted player old game consoles with your HDMI, only TV or
monitor well this is the many composite HDMI converter. ups.. killer is
it just a gimmick or their product worth buying find out in this for
review. Hey hey guys, this is gamer Downey and today we're going to be
taking a look at the many AV or composite to HDMI converter upscale with
HDMI being the new standard. Some monitors are starting to lack
composite inputs, whether you're using this because that or you just
like HDMI better ? let's see if this is worth the buy to start off with
we have a small box, this box is very compact in can be put pretty much
anywhere as per court imports. on the left side we have three slots for
red yellow and white composite cables. Flip it around to the right side
and we'll find one slot for your HDMI cable, turn it to the back side
and we find USB, power input and the switch to tell whether you should
upscale the game 2 720 P or 10 ATP. That's pretty much it but then again
that's pretty much all you need also included is a power cable that you
can use to power your fights.
It would have been nice if they
had included an HDMI cable but I guess the company figured you probably
have one lying around somewhere setup is very simple are you need to do
is peer composite cables, maybe from your n64 or SNES. In on one side
and it converts it to an HDMI cable, a plugin on the other side the plug
the other end up the HDMI cable, cue HDTV or monitor. Now you can take
the USB to power cable adapter that came with Europe's killer and plug
it into your converter. Next take the power cable and plug it into the
USB, power cable adapter you can just use a USB cable but this this is
what came with the device this what I use, after that you can plug in
your power brick although having a broken power socket is totally
optional once plugged in the device will automatically turn on. You
should see a blue glowing light if you're a vice working properly and
now you all ready to go here have my device, hooked up to my Nintendo.
Wii I also have the HDMI cable hooked up to my Oct I 2353 pH 23 inch
monitor which I did in a boxing on.
Here's some gameplay footage
me playing Super Mario Galaxy two you and as you can see the footage is
not half bad in fact, it looks excellent looks just as good as if you're
hooking up via the composite cables. Another thing to know is this
makes your gains fullscreen which is the feature I personally really
like a lot. Evening works with retro games too here's me playing Super
Mario RPG legend of the Seven Stars. On the Virtual Console it also will
make these games full screen as well and they look just as good as
before, the sound also will be output through the HDMI cable. I found
that the sound is just as good as if you are using composite cable here
some samples have the Sam.
Please note, that audio quality may be
degraded just a little, do to me recording with the camera mic check so
overall this product is great and if you have any need for I would
definitely recommend it well doesn't do anything to make your article
look better and does need an external power supply. If you have a minor
like me that uses HDMI, money alright your games to be full screen this
is a must by they also sell HDMI to composite cable. Converter as well
if you like this article don't forget to give it a thumbs up and for
more great article like this don't forget to subscribe you're so next.
